Jeremy Silanskis has been with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) since 2000 and is currently the Deputy Director of the Financial Management Group (FMG). Prior to this role, Jeremy directed FMG’s Division for Reimbursement Policy and worked to implement national payment and financing policies focused on ensuring proper oversight of the Medicaid program and developing approaches to care models that reward quality and access over volume. In previous roles within CMS, Jeremy has served as a technical director and analyst working on a variety of subject areas, including implementing the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act. Jeremy has an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.
