Coding Requirements	1. Value must be 8 characters in the form "CCYYMMDD" 2. The date must be a valid calendar date (i.e. Feb 29th only on the leap year, never April 31st or Sept 31st) 3. Conditional 4. When populated, value must be on or after individual's Date of Birth 5. Value must be less than or equal to associated End of Time Period (PRV.001.010) 6. There can only be one value on all records when the value is populated 7. When populated, the difference between value and Date of Birth (PRV.002.034) must be 18 years or greater

RULE ID	RULE Definition
RULE-2821	If a provider attributes main segment has values populated for date of death and date of birth, then the difference between the values must be equal to or greater that 18 years.
RULE-2822	If the facility group individual code is '01' or '02' on a provider attributes main segment from a PRV file, then the value for date of death must be null or invalid.
RULE-2823	If the provider attributes main has a value populated for date of death and the provider file header has a value populated for end of time period, the the date of death is less than or equal to the end of time period.
RULE-6742	If a segment is a provider attributes main segment from a PRV file, then the date of birth value reported must be a valid date of the form CCYYMMDD.
